INNO8 ist der Projektleiter von GRoNe. Er ist historisch der erste Think Thank zur Unterstützung der Innovation in Lothringen.
Jahre 2008 begründet von 8 Experten verschiedener Kenntnisse – Industrie, Geisteswissenschaften, Forschung & Innovation, Rechtsbereich, Strategie und Marketing – seine Einzigartigkeit ergibt sich aus:
- seiner Unabhängigkeit von öffentlichen Finanzierung
- der Verfügbarkeit mehrerer diversifizierter know-how in den folgenden Bereichen: Mechanik, Chemie, Elektronik, Biologie, IT, Umwelt, Jura, Marketing
Die Kompetenzbereiche von INNO8 sind für GRONE zweifach interessant.
Einerseits in der Leitung große europäische Projekte:
- Die Mitglieder von INNO8 haben eine starke Erfahrung des Managements europäischer Projekte insbesondere auf INTERREG
- INNO8 wird verantwortlich für das Management des Projekts, für das Berichtswesen und für die internen Steuerungsinstrumente im Konsortium sein
Andererseits in der Entwicklung der Aktionen zur Unterstützung der Unternehmen
- INNO8 bringt dem Konsortium sein know-how in Bezug auf Strategie und Innovation.
- Die Mitglieder von INNO8 haben schon mehrere gemeinsame Begleitprojekte in Lothringen geführt. So wird INNO8 Leader der Aktion A7 (gemeinsame Unternehmensunterstützung) sein.
- INNO8 stellt GRoNe seine Erfahrung der großen Konsortien zur Verfügung – für Aktion 5, „Andeutung des Clusters“.
ALERION is a start-up created in June 2015 and located inside the “Industrial partnerships and development” platform of the INRIA Nancy Grand Est center, in Villers-lès-Nancy (FR). It is specialized in smart and advanced solutions for and by drones and other unmanned vehicles, and develops its own cyber-physical components for UAVs. It can also integrate entire systems from mission specific components (sensors, communications hubs) up to the SIG for example or even design completely specific solutions. Safety, security and simplicity are in the genes of our company.
CentraleSupélec is the result of the merger of the École Centrale Paris and Supélec in January, 2015. Specializing in shooting, film and air measures through the use of drones, the company DroneLAB® aims to provide innovative solutions in the implementation of specific equipment on board to meet the demands of scientific, industrial, energy, environment, monitoring and planning. To achieve its goals, we not only uses pre-configured and able to perform UAV missions with high added value, but also wants to develop its own drones, equipped with specific solutions.
FRAUNHOFER INSTITUTE FOR NONDESTRUCTIVE TESTING IZFP :
- is an internationally renowned R&D center for nondestructive testing methods,
- researches and develops technologies for nondestructive monitoring for material, component and product characterization, and
- develops industrial-grade system solutions to prototype and series maturity, covering the entire range of nondestructive testing methods.
We align our activities with industry-specific product life cycles from which we derive the current challenges our customers and partners face (“Industry 4.0“).
As a result, the institute operates and supports the paradigm shift away from classical NDT towards comprehensive digitization, monitoring and process control: Quality to-be will no longer be tested into a product; instead, it will be built in. Thus, nondestructive testing must be geared to the demand for under-control processes and must address all aspects of nondestructive monitoring with all of its options for process control.
IDELUX, the agency for economic development of the province of Luxembourg, works in tandem with the province authorities and those of the 44 ‘communes’ (administrative districts) within the province, supported by a number of private sector shareholders. It is part of the IDELUX – AIVE group, which employs 500 staff and recorded a turnover of €86 million for fiscal 2015.

I-MAGE Consult is a SME and was founded in 1994. It is based in Namur (BE) is run by a multidisciplinary team of engineers, geographers and computer scientists. The company has acquired a great deal of experience in the land cover and land use mapping and the management of environmental information and natural resources across different parts of the world (Europe, Africa, the Caribbean, the Pacific).
I-MAGE Consult has a strong experience in land use and land cover and natural resources mapping. I-MAGE Consult manages the entire workflow of processing of a spatial data, from the field (GPS campaign and field survey) to the Web (development of spatial data services and WebGIS application). We exploit and process optical and radar satellite imagery as well as aerial photography and vector data to generate operational and added-value services and cartographic products which fit to the user needs and requirements. Based on his expertise, the enterprise provides training in GIS and Spatial Database Management.
I-MAGE Consult is used to working with multi-disciplinary team by bringing the spatial dimension and the GIS aspects to the project.
With regards to the GroNe project, the main tasks of I-MAGE will be R&D especially by processing UAV data acquired in the different field of the project. Also, I-MAGE is involved in the other WP: WP6 – training based on his GIS skill, WP7 – dissemination based on the connection established between I-MAGE and the end users, WP3 – State of art.
The Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) is a mission-driven Research and Technology Organisation (RTO) that develops advanced technologies and delivers innovative products and services to industry and society.

Thanks to its location in an exceptional collaborative environment, namely the Belval Innovation Campus, LIST accelerates time to market by maximizing synergies with different actors, including the university, the national funding agency and industrial clusters.
Loria is the French acronym for the “Lorraine Research Laboratory in Computer Science and its Applications” and is a research unit (UMR 7503), common to CNRS, the University of Lorraine and INRIA. This unit was officially created in 1997.
Loria’s missions mainly deal with fundamental and applied research in computer sciences.
The lab is a member of the Charles Hermite Federation, which groups the four main research labs in Mathematics, in Information and Communication Sciences and in Control and Automation. Bolstered by the 500 people working in the lab, its scientific work is conducted in 27 teams including 16 common teams with INRIA. LORIA is today one of the biggest research labs in Lorraine.
SAM stands for Sensing of Atmosphere and Monitoring. The SAM team is part of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Liège (ULg), and is based in the city of Arlon (BE).
The ULg counts 3300 lecturers-researchers and 22,700 students among whom 22% foreign students from 119 different countries, including 2,125 PhD students, that are involved in a variety of research programs.
The ULg is based in the city of Liège, but also includes two other sites. The site of Gembloux (Province of Namur) hosts studies in agronomy sciences and biological engineering, and the site of Arlon (Province of Luxembourg) hosts studies and research in environmental sciences.
Arlon Campus is actually the environmental department of the Faculty of Sciences. It hosts 6 research units, among which the SAM.
The core task of SAM is the integration of several techniques such as sensorial measurement (for instance olfactometry), citizens involvement, physico-chemicals analyses of VOC’s (i.e. GC-MS), use of chemical sensors arrays for the odour/indoor monitoring. SAM will be also involved in the demonstration of the odour integrated systems as well as of the chemical sensors devices for low cost air pollution measurement, in particular in Belgium cities and German ones.
